Week 7s Five

The boy’s were enthralled in this activity for a couple of hours. 


It was a chance for them to use their tools, (plastic- hammers, drill, wrench …) along with scrub brushes, rock salt , spray bottles of water and their own muscle to get the job done. 

The treasures consisted of little dollar store items such as plastic snakes, shells, and shiny stones. 

As hard as the boys worked to free their treasure you would have thought it was a treasure chest of Lego’s.  


Milk cartons worked really well for the freezing process, and using an empty splash pool or sand box turns out to be great work area for this project.
